What we make

Sizes	2½″ to 80″ in diameter. Any quantity, from one replacement to a full property.
Shapes	Round, square, rectangle and oval, as drums or tapered. Also bell, sphere, multi-tier, sculptural and custom shapes from your drawings.
Uses	Table and floor lamps, wall sconces, pendants and chandeliers.
Fitters	Standard 3/8″ washer · UNO, threaded or unthreaded · Flat / Euro washer · Slotted (C) washer · Custom fitters made to your fixture.
Materials	Over 100 materials in 10 price categories: whites and parchments, linens, sheers, wipe-clean Trilam laminates, felt, slate and wood veneer, plus customer's own material (COM) and custom printing.
Edge finishes	Taped (matching or contrasting) · Trim band · Rolled edge.
Options	Closed and donut diffusers · Plain or printed linings · Multi-tier construction.
Made in	Our own factory in Bedford Park, Illinois, USA. Lampshades Inc. has made lampshades since 1979.

How we measure a shade

Tapered shades	Top × bottom × slant height, in inches. Slant height is measured along the side of the shade, not straight down.
Drum shades	Top and bottom are the same, so a drum is width × height.
Rectangles and ovals	Give the long and short side for the top and the bottom, e.g. top 10 × 6, bottom 16 × 10, slant 10.
Fitter	Look inside the shade at the part that sits on the lamp. A photo of it is the easiest way to tell us.

What we need for a quote

1. Shape, and top, bottom and slant (or width and height) in inches.
2. Fitter type, or a photo looking inside the current shade.
3. Material and edge finish. Free swatches help you choose.
4. Quantity, delivery address and the date you need them.
5. Anything special: flame-rating requirement, COM fabric, printing, diffusers.

• Samples. For larger orders we make a sample shade for approval before production.
